How it works
- Real-time visibility: Guest Display runs on a second iPad connected to PAD. As your staff build the order, customers see their items and running total update live.
- Loyalty identification at the display: Starting with PAD 12.0 and Guest Display v1.5, customers can enter their phone number directly on the display to link their membership, without any back-and-forth with the operator.
Good to know
Guest Display is built for quick-service and counter environments where a fast, transparent checkout experience makes a real difference.
Digital receipts for every payment method
Your staff can now send receipts via SMS or email after any approved payment. Guests get their receipt the way they want it, every time.
What's new?
- Dedicated receipt screen: after payment approval, staff see all available delivery channels plus a "No receipt" option.
- Updated button label: "Print receipt" is now "Print/Send receipt."
- Split check support: print all receipts at once, or select an individual payment and send it through a different channel.
Quick tip
The screen defaults to "All Receipts" (print only). To send via SMS or email, select a single payment first.
Automatic fallback to manual credit backup
When Ingenico returns a network or system error during payment authorization, PAD automatically offers your team the option to continue with manual credit. No extra setup required.
What changed
- Previously, a failed Ingenico authorization showed a generic error with no guidance on next steps.
- Now, when an error occurs and the site has a manual credit backup account configured, PAD displays a prompt with two options:
- Manual Credit — opens the manual credit backup flow immediately.
- Back — returns to the payment screen.

Offer and swap shifts from the schedule
Employees can now offer up and swap shifts directly from the schedule screen as they're viewing it, for a smoother, faster experience.
Staff log in with a one-time code
A new One time code tab on the login screen lets employees get back in fast if they forget their password. No IT intervention needed.
How it works
Tabit Order
Customers redeem rewards with fewer steps
The reward redemption flow is now smoother and more intuitive. Customers are guided step-by-step through selecting all required items for their reward, with clear prompts if something is missing.
If a required item is missing, customers are given the choice to add what's needed or simply continue without the reward, keeping the ordering experience frustration-free.
Heads up
This improved flow applies to coupon code rewards only. Loyalty and manual rewards are not affected.
Tabit Kitchen
Mark full tickets with a double-tap
Two small changes that add up to a noticeably faster kitchen flow: a new double-tap gesture to mark all items at once, and quicker access to Move to start.
What's new
Return to your previous filters with one tap
When viewing Bumped tickets, the filter button now turns into a Back arrow. Tap it to instantly return to exactly the filters you had set before.
