Tabit Guest Display shows customers their order in real time as they place it. This allows them to keep track of what they're ordering, ensure that their order is correct, log into their loyalty program, and pay and add a tip without needing to involve a server.
Watch the video below to learn how the Tabit Guest Display works:
What happens during an order
When an OTC order begins, the Guest Display shows the restaurant's branding. As items are added on the PAD, they appear immediately on the Guest Display with their prices and any modifiers. The total updates with every change.
When the operator moves to payment, the Guest Display guides the customer through the process — showing the amount due, prompting them to tap, insert, or swipe their card, and presenting tip options and a signature area. Once payment is complete, the customer can choose how to receive their receipt (SMS, email, or print) directly on the display. The flow ends with a confirmation screen showing the total paid.
Loyalty program identification
For sites with a loyalty program enabled, the Guest Display can prompt customers to enter their phone number at the start of the order to associate their loyalty membership. This happens entirely on the customer's side without interrupting the operator. If the loyalty program requires OTP verification, the Guest Display handles that as well.
