Adding a message to Tabit Order

Adding messages in Tabit Order allows you to communicate important updates, alerts, or helpful information directly to customers. You can control when the message appears and who sees it, ensuring customers receive the right information during their order.

Follow the steps below to add a message to Tabit Order:

  1. In Tabit Office, go to Tabit Order > Site Setup > Messages, and select Add Message

  2. Now, enter the required information:

    Timing

    Determines when the message will be displayed in the order process

    • Home: before service selection

    • Address: on the address screen when selecting delivery

    • After selecting a service: when selecting any non-delivery service

    • Menu: at the top of the menu

    • Contact page: in the contact info section before checkout

    • Before payment: on the payment screen

    • End of order: on the summary screen after payment

    Status

    Determines if the message is currently Active or Disabled

    Message Scope

    Determines which type of order the message will appear in

    • All types
    • Takeaway
    • Delivery
    • Eat In
    • Tabit Pay 
    Message Type

     

    • Promotion: A message to highlight special deals, limited-time offers, or benefits designed to attract customers, and to draw attention to featured items or discounts
    • Info: A message to provide additional information about special events, promotions, or other non-urgent information that may be of interest to the customer
    • Alert: A message to provide important information about a change in service or availability, such as changes in hours, new service offerings, or capacity restrictions
    • Warning: A message to provide information about potential delays, issues, or inconveniences that may affect their order or their experience

       

    Order Timing

    Determines which type of order the message is displayed for 

    • Regular orders: Orders for the same business day 
    • Future orders: Orders for a future business day 
    Scheduling

    Refers to a specific day and time, depending on time slot settings. For more information, visit our Tabit Order time slot article

    Delivery regions

    Displays in a specific delivery region

    Display on Chain Level

    When enabled, the message will appear across all sites that belong to the HQ

    Display Type

    Display Type:

    • Text: when selected, add the desired message
    • Image: when selected, add mobile and desktop display
  3. Once you finish, select Save

  4. Now, confirm the information, and select Save on the right to update the messages in Tabit Order
