Tabit PAD
Count bills and coins with less manual work
The new cash count screen lets staff enter the quantity of each bill and coin denomination. PAD calculates the total automatically, helping standardize the count and reduce manual math errors.
Save large gift card orders and finish them later
The redesigned gift card flow lets staff add gift cards to an order, save it before payment, and resume payment and card loading when the customer returns.
Dedicated screens for card loading, payment, and reward activation make progress easier to follow. If processing is interrupted or a card fails, staff can reopen the saved order and retry, replace, or skip the affected card without starting over.
Identify split-check items by their priced modifiers
Item cards on the Split Check screen now show the names of priced modifiers. Servers can distinguish between otherwise identical items and assign each one to the correct guest. Free modifiers remain hidden.
Find House Accounts by account name
Staff can now search for a House Account by name as well as by phone number. A new site parameter controls whether name search is available to managers only or to all users.
Control who can view Feedback reports
The new Feedback Reports permission lets sites give selected employees access to Feedback reports without granting broader manager access.
Tabit Office
Meet your new creative hub: Tabit Media Gallery
Give every digital touchpoint a polished, consistent look without hunting through folders or uploading the same image again. The new Tabit Media Gallery brings images from across Tabit Office, including Tabit Order and Kiosk, into one searchable library.
The Tabit AI Image Editor can generate an original image from a text prompt or transform an image you already have. Remove or replace backgrounds, optimize files for online ordering, crop and adjust photos, enhance them with AI, and return to an earlier version.
Catch future stock pressure before service feels it
A weekly dashboard now brings projected stock across locations into one clear view. Color-coded statuses show which items are available, below their configured threshold, or expected to sell out, making it easier to adjust production before availability becomes a problem.
Hover over any day to see the affected sites, ordered from the lowest remaining stock to the highest, so your team knows where attention is needed first.
Give non-managers only the PAD permissions they need
Four new permissions under PAD give sites more flexibility when assigning manager-level actions to non-manager employees: Reports & End of Day, Fees, Item Availability (86), and Shift Notes.
Each permission can be assigned independently, allowing employees to perform only the actions required for their role. These permissions require PAD V12.2 or later.
Tabit Order
Help customers find the right menu items faster
Tabit Order search now looks beyond exact item names. It also matches category names and item descriptions, helping guests discover relevant dishes when they search for a general craving, ingredient, or menu type.
View Menu also gives you more control over restricted categories. Choose whether a category follows its restrictions, always appears, or remains hidden. When a restricted category is visible, guests can see its order timing, supported order types, and available days or hours beneath the category name.
Let customers explore item details before ordering
Customers using View Menu can now open an item to see its full description, images, nutritional information, and available options before starting an order.
The preview is read-only. Customers can return to the menu to continue browsing or select Start order when they are ready.
Create delivery areas by radius
The delivery-zone setup now supports Polygon, Circle, and Rectangle zones from one Add delivery zone menu.
Circular zones can be sized with an exact radius in kilometres. You can also select Automatic radius to create an editable 3-kilometre zone centred on the restaurant.
Tabit Integrations
Send in-house delivery orders with Uber Direct
The new Uber Direct integration lets restaurants request an Uber courier for in-house delivery orders, extending delivery capacity without moving the order to a separate ordering workflow.
Tabit Kitchen
Fit more kitchen tickets on screen
Give Kitchen and Expo teams a denser, easier-to-scan view during busy service. The new vertical, serpentine layout arranges tickets in continuous columns, using available screen space more efficiently and keeping more active tickets visible at once.
Show when takeaway and delivery orders should be ready
Kitchen staff can now see the expected Ready By time directly on printed kitchen tickets for takeaway and delivery orders.
ย Please contact your Tabit representative to set up this feature.
Tabit Loyalty
Keep Loyalty and Gift Cards close at hand
Customers can add their digital Loyalty and Gift Cards to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for fast access at checkout, without searching through an old email or text message for the original link or card details.
The result is a smoother redemption experience for guests and fewer delays when staff are ready to apply a reward or gift-card balance.
Tabit Guest
Let the Optimizer improve table assignments
Rearrange upcoming reservations with one click to make better use of available tables, maximize back-to-back bookings, and reduce idle time between reservations.
Review table availability and scheduling gaps before and after optimization, see which reservations would move, make adjustments, and save only when you are comfortable with the new plan.
Reduce reservation gaps with Back-to-Back Only mode
Online booking can now avoid creating awkward gaps between reservations on the same table. When Back-to-Back Only is enabled, guests can book a time that runs directly before or after an existing reservation, or leaves enough time for another full reservation.
This setting is disabled by default and may reduce the number of time slots shown to guests.
Prepare for the day with an AI reservation summary
The new Daily AI Summary gives teams an at-a-glance overview of the selected day, including expected guests and reservations, peak times, and bookings with notes or requests that may need attention.
It can highlight celebrations, seating requests, VIP guests, and dietary needs. AI-generated insights should be reviewed before use.
Tabit Feedback
See guest satisfaction trends in Tabit Office
The new Feedback Dashboard brings guest surveys and ratings directly into Tabit Office, giving managers one place to monitor satisfaction and understand how guest sentiment changes over time.
Filter results by site, shift, and review type to compare patterns and identify where the guest experience is excelling or needs attention.
Review detailed Feedback reports
Feedback reports are now available in Tabit Office, giving authorized employees a more detailed view of guest responses and ratings alongside the Feedback Dashboard.
Quickly identify trends in guest feedback with AI
The new AI Summary analyzes guest feedback and highlights key insights, recurring themes, and issues that may require attention.
In Tabit Office, go to Feedback > Reports, select a date or date range, and then select AI Summary. AI-generated insights should be reviewed before use.
