The map screen in Tabit PAD provides a color-coded overview of table statuses, helping staff quickly understand what’s happening in each table at the restaurant. These visual indicators make it easy to identify whether a table is available, occupied, requires attention, or is waiting for an action to be completed.
Below is a breakdown of what each color and icon represents:
Color indicators
-
Green – Order in process.
The table is currently occupied and has an active order. -
Orange (pulsing) – Items have not been fired.
The table has an order where one or more items have been entered but not yet fired to the kitchen. -
Orange – Manager action is needed.
The table requires attention from a manager (ex. discounts, voids, or payment overrides). -
Yellow (still) – Order from a past business day.
Indicates a table with an open check carried over from a previous day. -
Purple – Reservation sat
A reserved table where the guest has arrived and been seated. -
Gray – Dirty table.
The table is considered “dirty” after an order has been closed out.
Icon indicator
-
Fire icon – Items on hold
The fire icon appears on a table when some items have been placed on hold and not yet sent to the kitchen.
These visual cues allow staff to act efficiently without needing to enter each table individually.
