Routing an item determines where it will be printed in the kitchen. In some cases, items are routed to a few kitchen stations, such as the expo and grill kitchen stations.
Tabit Kitchen (KDS) will be affected by these routings as well

Follow the steps below to route an item:
- In Tabit Office, go to Menu > Items, search, and select the item you want to route

Then, select the Edit icon next to Routing
Items are automatically routed based on their assigned category. For example, if the "Burgers" category is routed to the grill kitchen station, any item created under this category will automatically be sent to the grill station
- Check the boxes of the relevant kitchen queue(s) you would like to route the item to

Select Save and Publish to update the changes
