Transferring order ownership

Order ownership can be transferred to other staff members if needed. This may be necessary when the original order owner is done with their shift or if they need to pass off their orders for any other reason. 

All order types (seated, TD, OTC, etc.) can be reassigned. Users can only be assigned as the order's new owner if the order type matches their role. For example, a TD order cannot be assigned to a user who doesn't have a TD profile.

  1. On the PAD, go to the Tables screen. Swipe right on the order you want to transfer and select Change Owner

  2. Then, the assign order pop-up will appear. Search and select the employee you want to assign the order to

  3. Select Confirm to complete the transfer

  4. Now, the ownership of this order is updated

Transferring multiple orders ownership

 

  1. On the PAD from the Shift Mgr screen, tap the Orders tab showing the number of orders the employee currently has, and select Change Owner 
     

  2. Select the employee you want to assign the orders to 

     
     
  3. Now, the list of assigned orders will appear. Choose Select all or manually Check specific orders to transfer, then select Change Owner

  4. And Confirm to complete the transfer

     

  5. Now, the ownership of these orders is updated
