1 Sub-Modifiers: Add more depth to your menu customization
Make complex orders feel simple—for your guests and your staff.
Sub-modifiers let you add another level of choices to your menu items, making it easier to handle complex setups like combo meals, layered sauces, customizable sides, and more.
Whether it’s a steak with a side salad and dressing options, or a pasta dish with a sauce that has its own toppings, sub-modifiers give you the flexibility to support it all.

2 Expanded options for Tip Suggestions
You now have more flexibility in how tip suggestions are calculated on the PAD.
Previously, tip amounts could be calculated with or without tax, with the default including tax. Now, you can choose from six different calculation methods to better fit your business needs.
To improve transparency, a disclaimer has also been added to the client tip screen explaining how the tip is calculated. If enabled, this disclaimer will also appear on the bill footer.
3 New confirmation for "Fire without print"
To prevent confusion when firing held courses, a new confirmation message now appears when using "Fire without print."
This message lets you know that the course status will change to "fired" without sending any items to the kitchen. It helps ensure you're aware of the action before continuing with the order.
Note: This confirmation only appears for new courses that have never been fired.
Tabit Office
Keep better track of cash drawer actions
The drawer summary can now be searched by a date range, filtered by user, drawer or action, and shows the number of actions performed, making it easier for you to keep track of things
Where to find it:
- In Tabit Office, go to Reports > Cash Summary
- Set the date range
- From here you can select Advance Filters to further filter your search, or simply view the cash drawer summary below

- Improvements to how modifiers appear in Tabit Order
- New look for item cards
1 Improvements to how modifiers appear in Tabit Order
No more lengthy modifier views. From now on, modifiers will only appear in list form in Tabit Order, while decisions can still be displayed in either list or bubble format
2New look for item cards
We've upgraded how item cards appear in Tabit Order, including:
- Rounded edges
- More padding between text and the edge of the card
- Uniform image sizes
- Responsive sizing when the screen size is changed
Tabit Kitchen
More options to increase visibility of important tickets
In our last "What's new" update we told you about using course tags to trigger the Display new ticket notification window. This can now also be triggered by item tags.
