If you’re experiencing issues with your Kiosk, follow these basic troubleshooting steps to resolve most problems before escalating to support.
Try these first, as they often resolve common issues:
- Reload the app – Restarting the kiosk app can resolve most minor issues.
- Reboot the PC – If the app reload doesn't work, turn off the device and restart it.
If the issue persists, find the relevant troubleshooting steps below:
Kiosk is stuck on "Loading"
Try restarting the app. If the issue persists, reboot the PC.
Kiosk not auto-launching the app after reboot
- Temporary fix: Open the Kiosk app manually using the shortcut on the desktop
- Permanent fix: This requires escalation to Tabit Support
I turned on the device and see the Tabit login screen
Menu not showing updates
If an item update made in Tabit Office is not appearing on the kiosk menu, follow these steps:
- Reload the Kiosk app
- Check that the menu update was published in Tabit Office
- If the issue persists, reload the app and/or reboot the PC
