Customizing captions in Tabit order

Tabit Order allows you to customize various captions throughout the order flow, providing flexibility in how different areas in the ordering screen appear to customers. 

Follow the steps below to access and adjust these captions to suit your restaurant’s needs

1. In Tabit Office, go to Tabit Order > Site Setup > Advanced Settings
2. Scroll down to find the Captions section
   
3. Add content to the following fields:
    
   Eat-in, Takeaway, and Delivery Buttons

   These captions appear on the initial page of the Tabit Order screen. The first three fields in the Captions section allow you to modify these buttons

    

   Select Table and Table Number

   These captions can be found after selecting the Eat In button:

   • Select Table Caption: "Please enter your table number"
   • Table Number Caption: Greyed out, labeled "Table Number"

     

   Extra Offers

   If additional items are set up in Tabit Order, you can customize these captions.

   • Extra Offers Caption: Header labeled "Additional Items"

   • Extra Offers Description: Appears under the "Additional Items" header as "Select additional items"

      

   Mobile View Captions

   If additional items are set up in Tabit Order, you can customize these captions.

   When viewed from a mobile device, you will see the following:

   • Cart Caption: "My Order"

      

   • Proceed to Checkout: "Proceed to payment"
