When managing the customer view on our online platform, you can enhance the display of items, modifier groups, and offers in each catalog.
All settings below override the item setup in the Menu Catalog, including item name, offer name, images, item description, Item Group name, Modifier Group name, and more.
An edited item will be marked with a green circle icon. To reverse the changes and return to the default settings, select Clear selection, Save, and Publish from the Items page under Menu in the sidebar
Follow the steps below to manage and enhance display:
- In Tabit Office, go to Customer Order > Customer View
- Select Enhance Catalog at the top right of the screen
The first tab shows all Combo Item Groups.
If your site doesn't use combos, this tab will be empty
Selecting an item from the list prompts the following options:
- Display Name: Change the item name displayed online.
- Description: Change the item description displayed online.
- Hide Group: Hide this portion of the combo (unless a selection is required).
- Collapse Group: Collapse the group (unless a selection is required).
- Selection: Allow single or multiple selections, or keep it at default.
- Item Display: Keep at default.
- Show Item’s Description: Display the description of items in this group.

Show Member Images: Display images of items in this group.
This list shows all modifier groups attached to each item in the Tabit Order Customer View.
- Display Name: Change the item name displayed online.
- Description: Change the item description displayed online.
- Hide Group: Hide this portion of the modifier group (unless a selection is required).
- Collapse Group: Collapse the group (unless a selection is required).
- Selection: Allow single or multiple selections, or keep it at default.
- Item Display: Keep at default.
- Show Item’s Description: Display the description of items in this group.
- Show Member Images: Display images of items in this group.
In these tabs, you can edit items and offers. Locate the item/offer you want to edit and update the Display Name and Description. This will override the original catalog details.
