Tags can be used to communicate simple messages to the kitchen about things that don't require modifiers, such as allergies or if a person at the table is a VIP. Urgent Tags can be used to move specific items or tickets to the front of the queue
Follow the steps below to learn how to set up urgent tags and items:
-
In Tabit Kitchen, select the four arrows in the top right corner of the screen and then select the three dots next to the user
-
Select Setup
-
Under Display Settings > Urgent tags select the tags that should be considered urgent and then select Save
-
Now, under the Expediter column, find Manage urgent on items. Here you can add items that should be considered urgent, jumping the ticket to the front of the queue. Once you've added all the relevant items, select Save in the top right corner
-
Now, when an item with an urgent tag, in this case sour cream, is ordered, it will appear at the front of the queue with a blinking red timer, as seen below
-
Additionally, any items given an urgent tag will display the same blinking red timer and automatically move to the front of the queue
