Creating a future order on the PAD

Future Order allows customers to place an order for a future business day. This can be done for takeaway, delivery, and Eat-in orders. Future orders are executed manually or according to ETA

If your business has never created a future order on the pad before, contact Tabit Support to ensure the correct configuration has been applied to enable this feature

Follow the steps below to create a future order from the pad:

  1. From the TD profile, select New TA Order or New Delivery Order

  2. Enter the required information, such as name, phone number, and address (for delivery orders)

  3. Select the Supply icon at the top of the screen

  4. Select the supply date and time

  5. Place the customer's order and continue to the payment screen

  6. In the next step, a few options will be available:

If the customer wants to pay and receive the order now, take the payment and mark the Execute checkbox. Then select the green Fire Now tab, and the order will immediately execute and fire

If the customer wants to pay after receiving the order, mark both the Pay Later checkbox and the Execute checkbox, then select Fire Now to fire the order

If the customer wants to place a future order and pay, receive the payment and select Suspend & Exit

If the customer wants to place a future order and pay later, mark the Pay Later checkbox and select Suspend & Exit

  7. The future order can now be seen under Suspended Orders.
