In many restaurants, multiple variations of the same item, such as burgers, appear on the menu. In this case, you may want them to be reported as one item (burger) to track the total number of burgers sold overall. This function is intended for Tabit Reports and will not affect 3rd party integrated reporting

This configuration will not affect prior sales or reports. Once the change is made, only new sales will be reported as the intended item
Follow the steps below to 'report as' an item:
- In Tabit Office, go to Menu > Items
- Search and select the item that you want to report as another item

Then, select the Edit icon on the top right

In the Edit Item screen, on the bottom right, select Search next to Report As

Search for the item that you want the selected item to report as, select it, and then select Add

Once you see the item in the section for Report As, select Save
- Select Publish on the top right of the screen to complete the update
