Using Eat-In through Tabit Order

Eat-In orders placed through Tabit Order are geared toward customers who are sitting at a table and want to have a contactless ordering experience.

  There are some important points to keep in mind about Eat-In Orders:

  • Eat-In Orders are located under the Over the Counter (OTC) profile.
  • Eat-In Orders do not have status updates or actions to perform.
  • If the Tabit Order is set to "Auto Execute", the Eat-In Order will be automatically sent to the kitchen when the order is completed. Otherwise, the User will need to manually send the items to the kitchen.

Follow the steps below to place an Eat In order through Tabit Order:

  1.  
    1. On the restaurant's Tabit Order page, select Eat In

    2. Enter your table number and complete your order

    3. Once the order is complete it will show on the PAD.

        • Icon on the left (plate & utensils) indicated that it is an Eat In order
        • Table number is located in the notes
        • Orange time indicates the delivery time promised to the guest
        • Price to the right indicates how much is still owed (If paying in cash)
        • If price is zero that means they have paid already.



           

    4. Once order is complete and paid, you can close the order in the payment screen.

 

  • When the order is ready, send the guest an SMS text:

      • Tap the 3 dots in the top left corner > Send SMS

         
      • Enter in order number

      • SMS icon will show above order number
