There are several reasons why you may not be able to place a takeaway or delivery order on a particular date.
Follow the steps below to identify the specific reason:
1. The date has been blocked by management or owner
2. Restaurant is closed
In Tabit Order, Work Hours indicate the restaurant's operating hours, while Time Slot indicates the specific hours when customers can place orders online. To troubleshoot why an online order cannot be placed, make sure to check the Work Hours and Time Slot information. Follow the steps below:
- In Tabit Office, go to Customer Order > Site Setup
- On the Work Hours tab, if the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday, then:
- Closed - The box will be empty
- Open - The box will be filled with blue
- Once all information is verified, select Save
- On the Time Slots tab, if the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday, then:
- Closed - The box will be empty
- Open - The box will be filled with blue
- Once all information is verified, select Save
3. Future Order is not set to Active
To verify that the Future Order feature is set to Active, follow the steps below:
- In Tabit Office, go to Customer Order > Site Setup
- On the General, under Order Methods, verify that the box next to the TD services (Takeaway/Delivery/Eat In) that should be active is checked and blue
- Confirm that Regular Orders and Future Orders are enabled. If either of these features is typically not available, keep it disabled.
- Once all information has been verified for accuracy, select Save
